Welcome to KierSkin Spa. By accessing this website and/or booking any services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Business Information & Scope of Practice

KierSkin Spa is a Maryland-based, licensed esthetics business providing professional, non-medical skincare services. All treatments offered are intended for cosmetic and wellness purposes only. KierSkin Spa does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical conditions.

All services are performed in compliance with Maryland Board of Cosmetology regulations.

2. Required Intake Forms

All clients are required to complete intake and consent forms prior to receiving any service. These forms are necessary to ensure your safety and customize your treatment. Failure to complete these forms may result in cancellation or denial of service.

By submitting these forms, you agree that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

3. Services and Eligibility

  • Services are available by appointment only.

  • Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present and must provide signed consent.

  • KierSkin Spa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to inappropriate behavior, undisclosed health risks, or failure to comply with spa policies.

4. Pricing and Payments

  • All pricing is subject to change at any time without notice. Prices listed do not include applicable taxes or fees. Accepted payment methods include cash, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, and credit/debit card (online only). A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. This will be communicated at the time of booking.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

No-Show Policy

No-shows will not be eligible for any refund of deposits or service fees. Repeat no-shows may result in being blocked from booking future appointments.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your appointment are eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Dissatisfaction

If you are unsatisfied with your service, please notify KierSkin Spa before leaving your appointment. While refunds are not automatically provided, a resolution may be discussed on a case-by-case basis at the spa’s discretion.

6. Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled depending on availability. This may be treated as a no-show and result in loss of deposit.

7. Health & Safety

  • Clients who are ill, contagious, or experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, rash, or open wounds must reschedule.

  • KierSkin Spa reserves the right to refuse service to protect the health and safety of all clients.

  • All tools and equipment are sanitized according to Maryland state regulations.

8. Liability Waiver

By booking and receiving services at KierSkin Spa, you agree that:

  • You are receiving services voluntarily.

  • You have disclosed all necessary medical and skin-related information.

  • KierSkin Spa is not liable for any adverse reactions or results from services, including but not limited to allergic reactions, breakouts, or sensitivities.

  • You release KierSkin Spa from any and all claims or liabilities related to your treatments.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to logos, service descriptions, images, and branding, is the property of KierSkin Spa. No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without express written permission.

10. Privacy Policy Summary

Any personal information collected (e.g., name, contact info, intake forms) is used strictly for the purpose of providing services and communicating with you.

  • We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

  • If you subscribe to our email list, you may opt out at any time.

11. Right to Modify Terms

KierSkin Spa reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in Maryland courts.
